Insights & Inspirations: The Joy of Being a Panel Moderator at the Halifax Black Film Festival

I had the distinct honour of moderating the Halifax Black Film Festival (HBFF) panel titled “Why Racialized Casting Directors Are Key to Boosting Representation On Screen.” 🌟

It was an incredible experience to share insights with such an accomplished group of industry experts, including award-winning agent/agency owner Tiauna Jackson, leading casting director Zora DeHorter, renowned filmmaker/producer Hank White and esteemed actor/producer Koumbie. We had a great discussion about the importance of diversity in casting and its potential impact in the entertainment industry.
